"Last night, the Metropolitan Transit Authority voted unanimously on new guidelines that will prohibit advertisements that the M.T.A. “reasonably foresees would imminently incite or provoke violence or other immediate breach of the peace.” It is important to note that they did not prohibit “viewpoint ads” altogether; free speech without hate will still be allowed on M.T.A. property. It is official: racist, Islamophobic ads like Pamela Geller’s have no place in NYC!"
