i like the Forward in contrast to other Jewish papers
mostly by the virtue that they don’t post as much inane bullshit that is used to get page views
unfortunately in the Jewish world “inane bullshit” often isn’t so “inane” and means specific nuttery like vague anti-semitism (e.g. getting goyim to write about why they love jews) or just really conservative in a vain attempt to be more “balanced”
i also like the irony that lots of conservatives read the Forward and post in its comments section, when the paper is pretty consistently liberaland was founded by socialists
not to say that i per se like that the Forward is liberal (why would i read it for politics in the first place), but this means that i don’t have to deal with really, really ignorant articles, usually regarding israel. conservatives just don’t know that “young jews don’t care about israel!!!!11” is a false premise.
