the lines between Conservative, reform. And reconstructionist Jews… Plus why I believe Judaism is really fading…
There is really no line any more between Conservative and Reform. The lines once set, are now out the window. As both believe the Torah is a guideline. So Conservative Jews may as well be called Reform. In my own opinion that is. Many of the Orthodox Rabbi’s I know agree with this. Including a Charedi (the orthodox, of orthodox Jews) Rabbi, who was born to reform family, and former “dead head” as in Grateful Dead.
This is why I say I am Conservadox. I blend the originally conservative movement with the Orthodox teachings.
And reconstructionist Jews, aka Jews for Yushka. Are just a real big hypocrisy… And pretty much the joke of the entire religion. As they can’t even seem to pick out those hypocrisies.
They are all results of this giant “do what feels good” movement. You want to know what is killing Judaism really? It’s not anti-semitism. It’s all this “do what feels good” crap. And intermarriage. I admit I am not a perfect Jew, then again who actually is if you want to get down to it. But I am slowly working on it.
Judaism is not a race where you can be 1/2 jewish. It’s a religion, just like Islam, christianity, and the like. I explain why there is no such thing as a 1/2 Jew in my side column of my tumblr. This is why we are dying as a people.
