"Oh you didn’t know? The burden of making things right and moving on is laid at the feet of the victim, not the perpetrator. We are the bad guys for pointing out that they did something awful and that asking them to even acknowledge, or least refrain from having huge parties in the streets and bank holidays for repugnant acts. We’re raining on their parade by asking that they not revel in their evil. It is OUR job, never theirs. We should be grateful for anything they give us and we’re whiners because we don’t accept it with a smile. The oppressor and the aggressor doesn’t have to do anything, it’s our job. It’s like they shit on our heads and we’re supposed to say, “Thanks for the hat.” Don’t bother engaging these ignorant people. They sleep well at night because they don’t have to cope with the knowledge that their sweet grandmother was in a concentration camp and lost her whole family in the ovens or gas chamber. Or that your grandmother was called nigger so much that when she was three, she thought that was her name. You see, it’s our job to apologize and exculpate the murderers, the criminals, and the scum of the earth who did these things. Basically, this heaping outrage upon outrage. Don’t bother. In their heads, it’s the Jews who are at fault for winding up in the gas chambers and blacks are at fault because they didn’t move fast enough to escape the whip for being too slow to pick up cotton. Let these moral cretins (all due respect to children with iodine deficiencies) roll around in their cesspool of immorality. Don’t dignify this abject stupidity and appalling notion that we should apologizing them for declining to move on from horrific acts just because they no longer care, assuming they ever did."
